Savannah

As the oldest city in the state of Georgia, Savannah has antebellum architecture, cobblestone squares, and old oak trees covered with Spanish moss. Don’t let all the history fool you though, this city is also very cutting edge. It’s the home of one of the world’s most respected design schools, the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), headquarters to Gulfstream Aerospace, often serves as the location for Hollywood movies (using locals as background actors), and the Savannah Music Festival has grown into one of the largest and most diverse music festivals on the East Coast.
